Disney Principle of Animation #1:
Squash and Stretch
I used the squash deformer to squash the ball while it was on the ground and stretch it while it was in the air. This made the ball appear to move more realistically, and gave it the illusion of having weight.

In order to guide the viewers' eyes to the focal point of the animation, I moved the camera so it focused on the ball and piano.

​
In order to make the ball appear more dynamic, I added some exaggeration by stretching the ball when it gets closer to the piano. This added character to the ball by making it seem excited.
